This Privacy Policy explains how Visionary Queens (“we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use visionaryqueens.com (the “Platform”).
We collect the minimum data needed to operate the Platform and we never sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
From Advertisers:
- Stage name and contact email;
- Listing content you submit: bio, photos (URLs), city, languages, services offered, vitals, social and contact handles you choose to publish;
- Verification information you provide for age and identity checks (where we conduct verification, the underlying ID document is reviewed and not retained beyond what is required by law);
- Bitcoin invoice metadata associated with your listing payment.
From Visitors:
- IP address, user-agent, language, and similar request metadata recorded by our servers and CDN;
- Communications you send us (e.g., emails to support).
We do not collect or store:
- Credit card or bank account information. All payments are made in Bitcoin or other digital currencies and processed by a self-hosted, non-custodial payment processor.
- Government identifiers, biometric data, or any “sensitive personal information” (as defined by applicable privacy law) beyond what is strictly required for age/identity verification.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate the Platform and provide the directory service;
- Verify age and identity of Advertisers;
- Review listings against our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy;
- Communicate with you about your listing or your inquiry;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with applicable law and lawful process.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or behavioral targeting.
3. Service Providers
We share information with the following categories of service providers solely to operate the Platform:
- Hosting and CDN: our application is hosted on cloud infrastructure operated by Vercel Inc.;
- Key-value storage: listing data is stored in a managed Redis instance operated by Upstash;
- Payment processor: Bitcoin payments are handled by a self-hosted instance of BTCPay Server (open source), with infrastructure operated by Voltage Cloud during the early phase of the Platform;
- Email: transactional email may be sent via a third-party email provider for status notifications.
Each provider is bound by a written agreement and has access only to the data needed to perform its function.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to operate the Platform, comply with our legal obligations (including record-keeping under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and applicable tax and financial-records laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Advertiser listings are retained while the listing is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit and dispute purposes. You may request earlier deletion under the “Your Rights” section below, subject to our legal obligations.
Server logs (IP, user-agent, etc.) are retained no longer than ninety (90) days unless a specific incident requires longer preservation.
5. Your Rights
Depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may have one or more of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Deletion: ask us to delete information, subject to legal obligations that require retention;
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format;
- Restriction: ask us to limit certain processing;
- Opt-out of sale or sharing: we do not sell your information, but you may confirm this opt-out;
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know the categories of information collected and disclosed. Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah residents have analogous rights under their respective state privacy laws.
To exercise any right, email privacy@visionaryqueens.com with the request and any information that helps us locate your data.
6. Cookies and Similar Technology
The Platform uses a minimal set of cookies required for session and security purposes (e.g., the admin-area cookie). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or cross-site tracking pixels.
7. International Transfers
The Platform is operated using cloud infrastructure that may store and process information in the United States and elsewhere. By using the Platform you consent to transfer of your information to jurisdictions that may have data-protection laws different from those of your country.
8. Children
The Platform is intended exclusively for users aged eighteen (18) years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact privacy@visionaryqueens.com.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
